OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a machine that has been specially designed to carry out the automatic processing of wood sheets or plates, specifically
10 planks of noble wood that, due to the irregularity they present in obtaining them, before being properly treated and cut to size, are difficult to handle as well as store.
The object of the invention is to provide a machine with a triple function, which is that of
15 receive the plates automatically, store them regardless of the irregular geometry that they may have, as well as automatically supply them to other equipment when necessary, and all of them safely for the plates, avoiding possible breakage, all minimizing the Need for labor to control the machine, which can be carried out directly by the operator in charge of the
20 cutting machine that feeds the machine of the invention.
The invention is preferably in the field of obtaining wood coatings for different elements, such as vehicle dashboards and the like.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
As it is known, for the purpose of obtaining vehicle dashboards and other similar coatings, fine wooden planks, usually of wood, are used
30 nobles, which in their preparation present a flattened configuration, of a pre-established thickness, although their shapes and dimensions in plan are totally irregular and random, due to the very nature of the process of obtaining said plates.
These plates are obtained from a lathe that supplies the plates with the pre-established thickness 35, so that the same ones to date must be handled very carefully by at least one pair of operators, which implies a cost in labor, as well as problems when storing the plates, since when presenting each plate obtained different shapes and dimensions in the plant, keeping in common only the thickness of them, their stacking is not always easy, and can cause them to break.
In the same way, when introducing the sheets or plates obtained in the corresponding dryer, the participation of labor is also necessary with the consequent increase in the cost of the process.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The machine for the automatic processing of wood planks that has been recommended has been conceived to solve the problem described above, based on a simple but extremely effective structure.
For this, the machine is materialized in a frame or structure assisted by a conveyor belt, which can be operated both in one way or another, depending on whether the machine is receiving wood planks or is supplying them to another workstation , so that said conveyor belt is arranged between a pair of coils by means of which the wood veneers are processed.
More specifically, it is envisaged that, below the conveyor belt, a coil is established in which a plastic net is wound, the free end of which is associated with the second coil, which is located superiorly, with a direction of rotation opposite to that of The bottom coil.
Said upper coil will be assisted by a motor-reducer team responsible for managing its winding and unwinding, the lower coil being free-spin, bound by the very nature of the plastic network that links both coils.
In this way, in the route made by the plastic network from leaving the lower coil until it is wound in the upper coil, the previously commented
P201631 519
In radial direction on the coil through respective guides, so that said
conveyor belt and feeding of the wooden plates, which are deposited on said plastic network, so that the plates are collected and stored together with the plastic network in the upper coil, so that obviously said assembly will have a noticeable volumetry greater than that of the lower coil when it meets the entire plastic network wound on it.
In order to ensure a perfect operation of the machine, it is foreseen that externally to the upper reel, friction mechanisms are provided that keep the net and the wooden planks tense, materialized in scrollable rollers.
rollers are always in contact with the external surface of the coil ensuring its perfect winding.
In this way, the wooden planks are perfectly stored between each turn of the coil of plastic net, without risk of breakage for the same or that they fall as could occur in conventional cases of stacking for them, with the consequent risk of break.
The coils may have a removable character, although it is also provided that the device can operate in reverse, in which case both coils would be motorized and synchronized, so that the winding of the lower coil causes the plates that were stored in the upper reel passes through the conveyor belt between both coils, so that if the direction of rotation of said conveyor is reversed, it can be used as a feeder for other machines or work stations, such as a unit of drying for the plates.
It only remains to point out finally that to optimize the operation of the machine, it is provided that at the entrance of the machine there are sensors that detect the presence of the wooden planks, so that the coils are only activated when they actually enter wood to the machine, regardless of whether the conveyor and feed belt work continuously, thus avoiding wasting the storage spaces defined by the plastic network along its length, obviously being all the device control electronics managed to through an electrical control panel.
In this way, an extremely efficient and optimal machine is achieved in the processing of the wood planks obtained, without the need for labor for said treatment and minimizing the damages that said plates could suffer throughout the process.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To complement the description that will then be made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred example of practical implementation thereof, a set of drawings is attached as an integral part of said description. where, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented:
Figure 1 shows a representation corresponding to a side perspective view of a machine for the automatic processing of wood planks made in accordance with the object of the present invention, in which both coils are represented in broken lines, showing the maximum volume that they are able to reach, although obviously these extreme positions could never occur simultaneously, as the winding of one is linked to the unwinding of the other and vice versa.
Figure 2.- Shows an internal schematic view of the fundamental elements of the machine.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
As can be seen in the figures outlined, the machine of the invention is constituted from a bench (1) in support functions, from a steel plate, in which four towers (2) of lifting of the machine, in order that it adapts to different heights of reception / output of the product.
On said towers (2) or telescopic lifting means a frame (3) is established in
which are provided with a pair of coils (4-5), a lower coil (4) and an upper coil (5), which are related to each other through a plastic net (6) that is fixed at one end to the core of one of the coils and on the other to the core of the opposite, so that the winding of one causes the unwinding of the other and vice versa.
More specifically, and as can be seen in Figure 2, the coils (4 and 5) have different directions of rotation, establishing between them different crazy tension rollers (7) that keep the plastic net (6) always tense, changing the direction of the same and making it face a conveyor belt (8) by which they feed or extract, according to the direction of operation of the machine a plurality of sheets or sheets of wood (9), of a pre-established thickness, but with irregular shapes and dimensions in plan.
In this way, and from the conveyor belt (8), the machine can be fed directly from a flat cutting machine, a vertical cutting machine, or other type of sheet metal cutting machines designed for this purpose, synchronizing the operation of Both machines
The assembly of the coils (4 and 5) will be assisted by a motor-reducer group by means of which the angular displacement of the same is controlled, so that it is not activated until the entrance of wood veneers (9) to the machine, for which the corresponding sensors (10) associated with the machine control electronics will be established in said input.
In this way, and as can be seen in Figure 2, the wood veneers (9) are deposited through the conveyor belt (8) on the surface of the plastic net (6) to move together with it in order to be wrapped with said net in the upper coil (5) said net acted as an element of support and immobilization of the different incoming wood veneers (9).
To ensure correct winding of the upper coil (5), it is provided that rollers (11), radially movable by means of guides (12), so that they press at all times on the upper coil (5). ) allowing it to roll correctly without the formation of bags or folds, adapting to the
progressive increase in volume that said coil suffers during its winding.
As previously mentioned, the machine can operate in the opposite direction, that is, as a feeder for plates or sheets of wood (9), simply by reversing the direction of advance of the conveyor belt (8) and the direction of rotation of the lower (4) and upper (5) coils, being able in this case, for example, to feed a plate drying equipment.
